You are invited to utilise The Tannery’s opulent Victorian era Atrium as a canvas for your next function or event. With its iconic French tiled floors, mahogany shop fronts, stained glass, the bespoke iron arches and translucent roof, this reborn industrial precinct is your palette to create truly memorable conferences, celebrations, or cocktail parties for up to 600 guests.

Since September 2016, the modern 180 sqm conference facility The Met Lounge offers additional opportunities for your event within The Tannery boutique shopping emporium.

Whether you are planning a reception with craft beers, or a beer tasting, Blue Smoke is ideally suited for reception-style events for up to 200 guests with Cassels & Sons’ famous fork’n’walk menus, or sit-down dinners for up to 80 guests.

Cassels & Sons presents the AGA Kitchen private dining room of indulgence and fine food for you to host a private dining experience or cocktail reception. The ‘old world’ inspired style combined with a fresh take on New Zealand cuisine is the perfect setting for your next function.

With 170 car parks, additional conference parking facilities, and convenient shuttle and coach accessibility, The Tannery is just a short ten minute drive from the CBD, Christchurch’s beach suburbs and the recreational grounds of the Port Hills.

Yes we can cater for any occasion. From casual BBQ on open fire or Pizzas from wood fired oven to Gala Dinner and Canapes You name it and we can do it. No group is too small or too big, everybody is a VIP
Yes we are very customer orientated and can provide menus for all allergies or choices.
Yes we can provide a state of art AV in our conference room Metropolitan Lounge and professional sound system and stage in Blue Smoke & AGA kitchen. We can organize any AV from our external suppliers for events in the Atrium.
No, not at all. we are well connected with Christchurch city center and you are here in 10 minutes from CBD and in 20 minutes from the Airport.
We can cater and have license until 2:00 AM.
Yes we have 170 car parks available for you and your guests.
We can organize anything for you so unless we cannot offer you the exact beverage or food you would like we provide all the catering.
Yes we are here all well connected to the city and we can help you organize any type of accommodation from 3* to 5* properties 10 minutes away from us and also any transfers you would need.
