Dunedin International Airport Limited (DIAL) is a publicly unlisted company, established under the Airport Authorities Act 1966, and incorporated in 1988.

The company’s principal activity is the operation of Dunedin International Airport. Land adjacent to the airport, held for possible expansion, is dairy farmed in partnership with a sharemilker. A small residential housing estate adjacent to the airport provides rental income.

Dunedin International Airport has a top quality conference centre suitable for a wide range of events, including board meetings, one-on-one interviews, workshops, conferences and seminars. Located on the second floor of the terminal building, adjacent to the Koru Lounge, the Conference facilities offers a Conference room and two meeting rooms. Dunedin Airport commands spectacular views of the Maungatua Range, the Taieri Plains and airport life.

The airport’s catering provider, Spotless Services, offers a full range of food from finger food through to full meals and from tea and coffee, through to a full bar service.

The Dunedin International Airport Conference Suite includes three different spaces suitable for eight to 80 people which are available for meetings.

The professional and friendly Conference Suite staff are on hand at all times to ensure your meeting runs smoothly. They are happy to go the extra mile to meet your needs in the lead up to and during your meeting.

Overlooking the Taieri Plains and magnificent Maungatua ridge, this spacious and light-filled room accommodates up to 80 people (theatre style) and is ideal for workshops and conferences. For smaller groups, the room can be split - thus allowing breaks and meals to be taken outside of the meeting area.

The Flagstaff Room - so named for the landscape painting by local artist Sam Foley - is a 12-seat boardroom space. Its combination of original art and executive style provide an environment suitable for hosting decerning clients.

The smallest of the facilities available, the Waitaha Room seats up to eight people and is ideal for interviews or business presentations. Waitaha is named after the first Maori settlers of the Taieri Plains and is our most popular room for meetings on the move.
