Dockside Restaurant And Bar is situated at the heart of Queens Wharf. With one of the largest outdoor dining areas over water in the Southern Hemisphere, it would be difficult to find a better venue to enjoy Wellington’s waterfront

We have three separate function spaces that can be booked for private events, the various capacities and details of the spaces can be viewed below:

Main Deck: With panoramic views of the Wellington Harbor, an opening roof and gorgeous decor, our Main Deck is the ideal spot for any occasion. It can accommodates up to 400 people.

Upstairs Restaurant: The upstairs restaurant boasts two private balconies, fantastic views of the city and sea and it’s own private bar. Ideal for birthday parties, cocktail events, corporate dinners, business meetings and more. It can accommodates up to 170 people.

Private Room: The private dining room has a beautiful overhead view over Wellington waterfront. It is great for intimate get together, private dinners, small wedding functions, lunchtime business meetings and anything small and elegant. It can accommodates up to 30 people.
